For some reason, I have been discovering a lot of PC game testing over at MMOGames.com lately. Kudos to them for finding many and sharing so much game testing news lately. The latest game of interest is Insidia, which has just been recently announced. And of course I wouldn’t be talking about Insidia at all if it weren’t for the fact that you can sign up for the Insidia closed beta already!
Insidia is a new simultaneous turn-based tactical game from Bad Seed. There isn’t yet that much information on the game’s website other than some tidbits about the short 15 minute matches of tactical gameplay. Here is the official blurb that I cribbed from the Insidia website:
“Insidia is a tactical game of swift and frantic duels. Assemble your team of four champions from a roster of steam knights, fierce punks, odd mutants and other survivors of a post apocalyptic fantasy world, then claim victory in the battlefield. Do no let your guard down: simultaneous turns and a flexible combo system will always keep you plugged into the action!”
As MMOGames.com pointed out, and I agree with this, that description of the gameplay makes Insidia sound a lot like Atlas Reactor. That probably isn’t a bad thing given how popular Atlas Reactor is. Plus, I have to say that I really like the good of the Insidia visuals as well. Unfortunately the reveal trailer below doesn’t show anything of the game. You can give it a look for what it is worth. Hopefully more information will be forthcoming shortly.
At any rate, it is certainly worth signing up for the Insidia closed beta. Head over the official website to sign up (this doubles for the Insidia newsletter registration. Check it out!
