Bethesda will be running a Quake Champions open tech test from May 12 to May 21, so get ready to test out this latest iteration of the legendary FPS game!
Well, I am coming off a week of being super sick, with the last three days having a nasty fever. Not that any of you needed to know that, or even asked. However, I told you that to say that it was nice to come out of the stupor and find that Bethesda had announced that a Quake Champions open tech test (i.e. an open beta) event will start shortly.
The Quake heritage as one of the FPS games that defined the entire genre is quite deep. I think I pointed out last time that it was certainly one of the first FPS games that really sucked me in to competitive FPS gaming. That was years ago of course, back when I has better reflexes and significant PvP bloodthirst. These days, I will leave it to you young’uns. Thus, I imagine that a chance to give into the latest iteration of a legend FPS franchise should be right up the alley of many of you.
The Quake Champions open tech test will start on May 12 and run until May 21. The official announcement states that everyone who wants a key will get one, but doesn’t say how. Presumably you just sign up using the current Quake Champions beta registration form and wait for a key. Check it out!
