Slitherine is launching Warhammer 40000: Sanctus Reach in two weeks, and it appears that you can still sign up for the Sanctus Reach beta test!
OK, enough slacking already! Time to get back at it following the holidays. After doing a cursory search this morning for new PC game testing opportunities, I was starting to get a bit dejected from the lack of news. However, I did notice a news article over on Rock, Paper, Shotgun about the impending release of Warhammer 40000: Sanctus Reach from Slitherine. After doing some reading about the game I also noticed that the Sanctus Reach beta is underway and it appears that you can still sign up!
Warhammer 40000: Sanctus Reach looks to be attempting the daunting task of recreating the feel of the table top verion of Warhammer 40K in a 3D video game. Sanctus Reach is very much a turn-based tactical strategy game that can be played either in single player or mutliplayer mode. The story of the game revolves around the legendary Space Wolves chapter of the Space Marines. Presumably that will be more significant to fans of Warhammer 40K. You will be able to outfit and command a variety of units that can gain experience over multiple scenarios. I recommend reading over the official website or the game’s Steam page for more information.
The game officially launches in two weeks so I am not sure how much time is left in the Santus Reach beta. Nonetheless, if you want to sign up for the beta just in case they are still accepting testers, then you can do that here. Check it out!
