Check out the Antraxx Kickstarter and download the Antraxx demo to give this retro-styled isometric multiplayer mech shooter a try!
OK, now that we have the host transfer out of the way we can get back to the important business of reporting on PC game testing opportunities. First up is the Antraxx demo and Kickstarter that went live a couple of weeks ago. The good folks at Team Antraxx were kind enough to let us know about it over a week ago, but with the server problems we had to put it on the backburner. But no longer, so let’s talk about it!
Antraxx is taking some heavy inspiration from the good old SNES days, as indicated by the Antraxx Kickstarter. Players are given control of customizable mechs in a retro-styled isometric game world. From the looks of it, Antraxx is a twin-stick styled shooter that is focused primarily on multiplayer and PvP gameplay. Singleplayer game play may be added if certain stretch goals are hit. I recommend reading over the Antraxx Kickstarter page for all of the details. The big features that I can see is the ability to fully customize your mech to change how it handles and fights, and the three faction territory control metagame.
If you want to give the game a look then I recommend downloading the Antraxx demo for Windows from the Kickstarter site. If you like what you see then you can help support the Antraxx Kickstarter and make the game a reality. Check it out!
