I think that it is safe to say that Divinity: Original Sin has been been one of the most well received RPGs over the past year since it released. It may even be edging its way into the ranks of all time favourite RPGs depending on who you ask. Given that, it is easy to see why the launch of the Divinity: Original Sin 2 Kickstarter today in generating lost of excitement (it has already raised more than 60% its goal as I write this). I for one was quick on the draw to pledge, and if you are an RPG fan then it is worth your while to check this one out.
Divinity: Original Sin from Larian Studios is a great RPG in general, but the inclusion of a well thought out and meaningful co-op mode is what really made the game, and the sequel looks to be upping the ante in that regard. Divinity: Original Sin 2 will allow not one but up to three other players join you in your questing. Actually, the questing can be played either cooperatively in which all players try take the goals of the party as their own, or it can be played competitively when the different players are pursuing their own questing goals. I recommend reading over the Divinity: Original Sin 2 Kickstarter page for more information about this and all of the other great features that are planned for the game.
As always, testing is out goal, and I am happy to report that every meaningful tier that includes a copy of the game also includes alpha and beta testing access. You gotta love Larian for including that. So what are you waiting for? Get over there and help support the Divinity: Original Sin 2 Kickstarter. Mush, I say, mush!
